The internal electronic tilt sensor provides quick vertical angle measurements for easy determination of heights of trees and other objects. Each precision instrument measures line of sight distance, horizontal distance, and two- and three-point height as well as reading angles in degrees and percent. Measurement results shown on both external and internal displays so that you can continue looking through the viewfinder and still see angle, distance, and height measurements. Housed in a rugged injection-molded plastic shell, the hypsometer/rangefinder offers simple, one-on operation. Using the red dot aiming system, simply aim at a reference point on the object to determine the distance to the reference point. Next, aim the instrument at the top of the object and then at the base to obtain an angle measurement. The height from the base to the top of the object is automatically calculated and displayed in feet, meters, or yards. Other features include: LED red dot sighting system, high tech hidden lens design, and low battery indicator. Completely eyesafe and conforms to all provisions of US21 CRF 1040.1 (CDRH Cl I Laser Product). RoHS compliant. Cordura carrying case included.
